Each piece from the Passerotto (or "Little Sparrow") collection is handmade in a small hill town in the region of Umbria, central Italy, that we (Maja and Toby) visit every summer. 
 
Italy's national bird - the passero or sparrow - has always prominently featured on many traditional Italian ceramic designs. In true reimagined Artemis Deco style, tradition meets contemporary in five beautiul colourways.
 
Each piece is totally handmade. Therefore, it can show some irregularity on its aspect, color and size. There can be a difference of a few millimeters between pieces of the same model. These differences are part of the beauty and authenticity of the traditional pottery.
